Our History

Dots Event Planning was born from a spark of inspiration and a successful celebration. Our journey began in 2017 when our founder, Tosin Ezekiel, organized a memorable event during a customer service week at her workplace, a prominent bank. Tasked with planning the week’s festivities, she led her team to a resounding success, clinching first place for their exceptional execution.

This experience showcased her natural flair for event organization and ignited her passion for the corporate events sector. Fueled by this success, Tosin’s interest expanded to encompass a variety of events, including kids’ parties, weddings, birthdays, and theme parties. Recognizing the universal desire for meticulously planned and unforgettable occasions, she relocated to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, where she founded Dots Event Planning.

Each event is crafted with the same level of dedication and attention to detail that marked her first triumph.

I am a results-driven professional with a strong background in banking, customer service, and business development. With a BSc and MSc in Economics and an MBA in Project Management and Supply Chain, I have successfully led operational strategies, managed teams, and enhanced service delivery in the financial sector. My expertise spans sales, client relationship management, and business growth, allowing me to excel in dynamic and competitive environments.

Currently, I work as a Sales Supplies Account Manager at Xerox in Saint John, focusing on telesales, client relationship management, and revenue growth. In addition, I own and co-manage DotsEventPlanning, an event planning business specializing in corporate events and 360-degree photobooth services. My ability to combine analytical thinking with creativity enables me to provide tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Beyond my professional roles, I am passionate about community engagement and event planning. I have organized large-scale events, including graduation parties, corporate functions, and cultural festivals. My expertise in project management, data analysis, and customer experience positions me as a versatile professional dedicated to delivering value across multiple industries.

I am a finance and risk management professional with expertise in enterprise risk management, governance, and compliance. My career began in the banking sector, where I gained extensive experience in risk assessment, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Over the years, I have developed specialized skills in anti-money laundering (AML), cybersecurity risk, and financial analysis, driving strategic initiatives to strengthen financial institutions.
Currently, I work as a Finance Manager at TD Bank, where I support key business decisions through risk-based analysis, financial modelling, and process optimization. Additionally, I am a Partner at Dots Events, an event planning and 360 photobooth rental company in New Brunswick, where I focus on business strategy, operations, and client engagement. I hold an MBA from UNB Saint John with a specialization in project management, a Master of Finance from the University of Lagos, and certifications including CISA and CRISC, with ongoing studies for the CPA certification.
Beyond my professional roles, I am passionate about entrepreneurship, business consulting, and mentorship. Through my consultancy, Tlolu Consult, I assist immigrants in navigating driver certification processes in New Brunswick. My core values include integrity, continuous learning, and strategic problem-solving which guides my approach to leadership and career development.
